Work/Life Design services are designed, developed and delivered by Trish Weston.
Trish Weston has been coaching since 2001, working with individuals who seek more balance, fulfillment, joy and peace in their lives. Trish has been a business owner (including sole proprietor, partner and company director) for over 20 years and brings the experience and entrepreneurial attitude of using strengths and resources to “make it work” to her clients’ projects.
Trish works with individuals who are ready to make significant changes in their lives. For some, it is designing brilliant new careers. For others, it is creating cool, calm and collected lives. And for many, it is both. For all, they are at a point in their lives where it is more important to follow their hearts rather than what convention dictates.
Trish’s coaching style is caring, honest, easy-going and non-directive. Her use of strategic questions, listening skills and well-developed sense of fun allow her clients’ uniqueness and capabilities to shine. She helps them know who they are and what they do best. From there they create lives and work they love.
Since starting her first business at age 20, Trish has been beguiled by the art and challenge of business. Along the way she has also garnered experience as a publisher, writer, DJ, event organiser, bookseller, graphic designer, administrator, psychologist, counsellor, job capacity assessor and the-person-who-knows-how-to-fix-the-computer. She is a featured contributor at Flying Solo and former editor of Queensland Coach.
Her education includes Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Post-graduate Diploma in Psychology, Certificate IV in Small Business Management, and Master of Organisational Psychology. Trish trained as a coach with the Life Coaching Academy, Australia.
Trish lives in the Noosa hinterland with her partner of 15 years. In her spare time she likes to write, read, and share good food and great conversation with friends.

What Trish’s clients say:
“During my first session with Trish, I was blown away by her skilful coaching as she effortlessly guided me to consider a particular part of my life that until that point, despite years of trying, I had been unable to clarify. Throughout the whole journey of coaching with her, I was amazed by her responsiveness to where I was in each moment. I was able to open up to Trish more than I had been able to open up to any other coach I’ve had in the past. Trish has a unique way of making a heavy burden suddenly seem light and brings delightful humour to the most unlikely of places. It was not uncommon for those in my household to hear me laughing heartily, when only a few minutes before I had been facing a serious challenge. I recommend Trish Weston as a coach for many others long into the future.” Dr Kerryn Griffiths, Brisbane, Australia.
“After 18 years working as a certified coach and having participated in the training of hundreds of coaches, I think that Trish is an exceptional coach. Her caring and at the same time no nonsense approach was exactly what I needed and wanted. She has mastery in using silence as a trigger for reflection and she far surpassed my expectations as to what to expect from a coaching process at this point. She has earned my gratitude as a person and my respect as a professional.” Diana Levinton, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“Trish coached me in a time in my life when I really didn’t feel very coachable. She met that challenge with what a calm acceptance and understanding for my situation. Trish’s manner was open and very honest, which allowed me to be the same. She seemed to understand my current mindset well, and managed our conversations so I was able to both rant when I needed, but then get me back on track to move forward. I believe she was exactly the coach I needed at that time – thanks Trish!” Tracey Charlton, Brisbane, Australia
“As a result of the coaching, I’m making consistent progress towards clarifying the next phase of my life. Trish provided a clear and grounding structure to create a strong relationship. She gave me plenty of space to speak and listened with compassion and understanding while providing questions to help me see the full picture. I would highly recommend her as a coach for anyone wanting a true thinking partner.” Angela Spaxman, Hong Kong.
“Everything I love about coaching, as a coach and as a client, has been met in the eight weeks that Trish was my coach. Trish’s unobtrusive, yet wise and persistent support enabled me to truly step out of my comfort zone, face my fear of fear, fulfill the desire to grow my faith, and challenge myself in the areas where I kept cautious for many years. Coaching is not just about achieving goals, it is more about self-learning, and Trish partnered me into this area of getting-to-know-myself-better. Knowing who I am and how I am when I do things to the best of my ability gave me confidence in myself to truly embrace any life event with knew openness and curiosity. What is more for me, being so well coached by Trish I learnt how to be a better coach myself. That is what coaching is – a reciprocal relationship of two equal, great and unique individuals. Thank you so much!” Dina Zavrski-Makaric, Sydney, Australia.
“Although we only coached for 8 weeks, I was surprised by the clarity and direction I was able to achieve with your support. Your questions directed me exactly to the places where my own wisdom and clarity awaited me; and your great mixture of friendliness and professionalism made you a delight to work with. I would highly recommend you as a gifted personal coach.” Eli Landa, Toronto, Canada.
